Excerpts from the book Gender Wars: The sexual politics of the radical right

This is the translation of a selection of chapters from the book Gender Wars: The Sexual Politics of the Radical Right (Las guerras de género. La política sexual de las derechas radicales) by Nuria Alabao, published in its original Spanish by Editorial Katakrak.

We have selected three chapters that we consider particularly important at the global level. We offer you the introduction, along with the following chapters: The Elements of a Reactionary Discourse, Multiple Radical Rights in a Divided Europe, and International Coordination: Sovereigntists in a Global World.
For many years The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Madrid Office has worked to develop materials and publications for political education, as well as organizing workshops and conferences, not only to understand the phenomenon of the extreme right, but also to develop and refine strategies to strengthen networks and political actors in defence of democracy and feminism.

This publication is the result of years of rigorous and extensive research by the author, Nuria Alabao. The selection of translated chapters serves as an introduction to the full publication in Spanish.
