Call for offers: Training for tenants

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is one of the largest political education institutions in Germany today, with branches in many countries worldwide. The Brussels Office operates as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues such as the global power shift and the socio-ecological transformation of today’s society. Madrid office as liaison office is organizational affiliated to Brussels office.

RLS Madrid office has published the following material, regarding organizing, focused on Housing: Organize and Rise: The Tenants Handbook

In this handbook, the Madrid tenants’ union has systematized practices to make organizing against the abuses of vulture funds and big landlords simpler, more practical and faster. In this way, they share their years of experience and lessons learned so that no one has to start from scratch.  With the aim of contributing to generate a collective power that makes the world a fairer place, without oppressors or oppressed, they have written a guide to organize any block of apartments through tools, tips and practical exercises.

In order to disseminate and spread the content among multipliers, RLS Madrid office is looking for trainers to disseminate the material. In particular, we are calling for the following services:

• Creation of training material to be used in training sessions
• Training sessions: previous conceptualization and methodology; organization, coordination and communication, facilitation of trainings in presence or online (price per session)
