Call for offers: trainers to disseminate “Poder Inquilino”
The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is one of the largest political education institutions in Germany today, with branches in many countries worldwide. The Brussels Office operates as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues such as the global power shift and the socio-ecological transformation of today’s society. Madrid office as liaison office is organizational affiliated to Brussels office.
RLS Madrid office has published “Poder Inquilino” (Tenant’s Power) (https://traficantes.net/libros/poder-inquilino), a joint co-edition with the publishing house, Traficantes de Sueños. The authors, a collective research, were Sindicato de Inquilinas de Madrid (Tenant’s Union in Madrid) among others.
This book addresses the question of the meaning of the fight for housing in a world where our homes are commodities. In this book, tenants’ unions propose that we reimagine housing as a right rather than a privilege. To do so, we must analyse the economic dynamics that govern the roofs over our heads, understand the processes that drive us from our homes, and unmask the actors who profit from one of our most basic needs. It is also essential to understand the power of our collective tools: grassroots unionism and people power. From financialisation to everyday resistance, in this volume you will find analysis, experiences and strategies for transforming outrage into collective action. Because the fight for a liveable city starts from the bottom up and cannot wait
In order to disseminate and spread the content among multipliers, RLS Madrid office is looking for trainers to disseminate the material. In particular, we are calling for the following services:

- Final report, including lists of participants, with name of their organizations and signatures of the participants we are inviting, complete program of the events and impact with indicators.
