Call for offers: Public Relations services

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is one of the largest political education institutions in Germany today, with branches in many countries worldwide. The Brussels-Madrid Office operates as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues such as the global power shift and the socio-ecological transformation of today’s society.

The Madrid Liaison Office of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is calling for offers for communications services for Madrid office, responsible for Public Relations and communication activities. In particular:

  • Website content management, calculated on a monthly basis.
  • Social media management. In the context of the current systemic communication crisis, including the increasing use of social media and the risks associated with disinformation and fake news—particularly on certain platforms—the RLS Madrid Office requires a revised social media strategy. This new approach shall assess the relevance and effectiveness of the existing platforms (X and Facebook) and must be fully aligned with the overall communication and social media strategy of RLS Headquarters in Berlin.
  • Design and implementation of a newsletter. For the reasons outlined above, the RLS Madrid Office requires the development of a newsletter. The proposal, frequency, and content shall be jointly defined with the RLS Madrid team.
  • Development and maintenance of databases, including contacts of RLS Madrid partners, media outlets, journalists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Development of communication strategies for specific projects and activities. The RLS Madrid Office implements projects that require targeted and in-depth media outreach, such as the organization of media interviews, dissemination plans for RLS publications, and the review of graphic and audiovisual materials.
  • Peer review of content in Spanish, primarily articles or publications produced within the framework of RLS activities.
  • Regular reporting to the Project Manager and the Head of Office of the RLS Madrid Office.
  • Coordination with PR teams in Brussels, Berlin, and Latin America.

Additional Services (to be quoted separately). Please also provide a quotation for the following additional services, which may be requested on an ad hoc basis:

  • Analytical political articles (to be delivered in Spanish), approximately 2,000 words.
  • Interviews, with a duration of approximately 45 minutes, and a length between 1000 and 2000 words.
  • Event support. Please specify the daily rates for:
    – Half-day
    – Full-day
  • Keynote speaker services
  • Moderation or facilitation of conferences or workshops

The period of this offer will be for 1 year (2026) and ends at 31.12.2026.

Working language in Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung’s offices in Brussels and Madrid is English, therefore proficiency in this language should be proved. As part of the application, the Appendix 1 (Binding contract) should be signed to prove that the service provider agrees with it.
