Call for offers: 50th anniversary of the Segovia Prison Escape

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is one of the largest political education institutions in Germany today, with branches in many countries worldwide. The Brussels Office operates as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues such as the global power shift and the socio-ecological transformation of today’s society. Madrid office as liaison office is organizational affiliated to Brussels office.

We are calling for a cultural or musical proposal under the framework of an upcoming commemorative event. The event will consist of a series of talks marking the 50th anniversary of the Segovia Prison Escape, and will take place on May 23, 2026, at La Cárcel de Segovia – Centro de Creación (Segovia, Spain). The request is for the closing of the event, starting at 1:30 p.m.

We expect an audience of approximately 80 attendees and are interested in including a cultural or musical proposal related to Democratic Memory, aligned with the historical and political context of the event.

Proposal must include:

• Description of the artistic proposal

• Approximate duration

• Technical requirements

• Fees

• Availability for the specified date
